Schedule Details

Day 1 (L/D) : Samarinda

Upon arrival at Balikpapan, transfer to local restaurant for lunch. Continue to Samarinda, where you will visit a famous Samarinda weaving workshop to see the fine craftsmanship behind the making of Samarinda Tenun Sarongs, renowned for their intricate
designs. Later in the afternoon, embark on a Mahakam River Cruise, offering stunning views of the river and surrounding
landscapes. After the cruise, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, then check in to your hotel.

Day 2 (B/L/D) : Samarinda - Balikpapan

Breakfast at hotel & check out. Visit local shop to buy the famous Durian Bread (Roti Durian Panglima Samarinda). Head to
Pampang Cultural Village, home of Dayak people, see their traditional longhouses and learn about their fascinating culture. Continue to Tenggarong, to visit the Kutai Kertarajasa Palace (Kedaton Kutai), which is part of the Kutai Kingdom, the oldest kingdom in Indonesia. You will also visit the Malawarman Museum, which showcases the rich history of the Kutai Sultanate, and a unique Wooden Museum. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before return to Balikpapan (2.5 hrs). Enjoy dinner at a local
restaurant & check in hotel.

Day 3 (B/L/D) : Samarinda

Breakfast at the hotel, visit Mangrove Center Graha Indah, take a motorboat cruise along the Sombar River to explore the rich mangrove ecosystem. Then, head to Margasari Water Village, a traditional village built on stilts over the water & experience the unique local way of life. Take a boat ride to the area of Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN), Indonesia’s future capital city. Return to
Balikpapan and enjoy the serene BSB Beach to relax and enjoy the sunset. Enjoy dinner & return to hotel.

Day 4 (B) : Departure
